The Meditation Gardens are designed to strengthen our connection to the natural environment, providing an opportunity for relief from stress, and a soothing experience to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. The Gardens are located on the grounds between the two patient wings.

There are two sitting areas for family and friends. One is called the Jo Brown Music room where a computer and library are located.

A Chapel is located inside the Music Room for patient, family, and visitor use.

The Chapel in the Woods is located outside on the grounds. It may be used as a quiet place for reflection and meditation.

A playroom is available for visiting children. A collection of donated videos are available in the children’s playroom. These videos may be taken to patient rooms for viewing. Additional videos are available from the staff

Each room has a patio with a view of the gardens. The patio doors open wide to allow patient beds to be moved outside.

The Dining Hall is open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Patients, families, guest, and employees are all welcome.

Patient meals are served to their room unless the patient is able to go to the dining room. There is no cost to patients for their food or snacks. Family members may bring “special items” for the patient and place them in a closed container and store in the room refrigerators.

Ice and vending machines are available for visitors on both wings of the facility.
